MASTERS is an event organized by FutureCaptains to enable students of high school and beyond to explore, engage and experience careers that are less popular but well rewarding. This idea took shape as we realized that most children and parents do not think beyond engineering, medicine and a few other professional courses. We want children to be empowered with the knowledge of various careers so that they can make an informed decision and choose the best career suited for them.

The intergovernmental economic organization, Organisation for Economic Co- operation and Development (OECD) says that 47% of boys and 53 % of girls surveyed in 41 countries expect to work in one of just 10 popular jobs by age of 30. By enrolling for this this event, you will learn about 60+ careers. You will also have the opportunity to interact with industry experts, get to know how to land a job in a particular industry. For example, if you want to have a career in sports, you will learn the various job roles in the sports industry, other than being a player of a particular sport. You will learn that it is not just playing the sport that will get you in to the sports industry. There is so much more to it. That is exactly what you will learn here.

If you have a thirst to learn about different career options that are out there, then this is for you. Anybody from high school (grades 8-12) and above are eligible to participate. Younger students are encouraged to participate along with their parents. Experienced working professionals are also welcome to attend for awareness purposes. We never know, one of the careers may strike a chord and one might find their calling.
